MARCHIONESS DRESS (18th century),
the bodice of the dress is fitted with princess seams, the neck edge is round and fairly deep, the waist seam is point shaped on the front and back. The sleeves are short and lace trimmed as the neck edge. The skirt is very large and gathered at the waist, the B version has a central yoke with a ruffle at the bottom.
