THE QUEEN's DRESS
composed of three parts: a skirt very wide and gathered at the waist on which is put the top of the dress, then the collar and the train that are made in one piece, fixed by snaps on the neckline. The top of the dress is bent at the waist with cutouts. The neck edge and bottom are trimmed with braid. The handles are mounted with a "medieval" roll and are finished with a wrist rising up. The large collar trimmed with lace stands behind the head.

Choose a nice plain or printed satin, a damask, eventually a velvet, an upholstery chintz which will give a medieval design to the dress.
The roll is in a contrasting color satin or in plain or patterned lamé, to match with the braid.
The collar, the wrists are in a simple white cotton that you can also use as lining for the front of the dress.
