WAISTCOAT AND BREECHES,
the waistcoat is long with a pointed shape on the front and machine embroidered all around. The breeches is cut below the knee with buttoned slits on the side, the waist is elasticated.
Recommended fabrics and fashion ideas
For the waistcoat, preferably choose an upholstery fabric whose patterns will evoke those of the eighteenth century, the decoration must be rich. If possible, enhance with a machine embroidery or a braid.
The breeches will be made in an heavy satin, a plain velvet etc. ..
If the outfit is completed by the coat, the breeches and it may be in the same fabric, equally the facings of the coat may be in the same fabric as the waistcoat.
